Brief History
In Late 1990, a senior scientist and a technocrat with strong connection from IIT madras, Mr. G V Subrahmanyam, founded PMT and designed LINAC Gantry for SAMEER. In 2006, he revolutionized the cobalt unit to 4th generation cobalt unit. In 2008 PMT proudly introduced fully digital simulator for Indian market with Flat panel detector. Simultaneously panacea worked upon to launch its Digital radiology range of products for radiology community.

  • 1999

    The Panacea Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was established in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

  • 2002

    Sidharath 6MV LINAC technology was developed along with SAMEER.

  • 2005

    • Digital Radiotherapy telecobalt machine named Bhabhatron-I was commercialized for clinical use
    • Type approval for Bhabhatron - II from Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) Mumbai
  • 2006

    Bhabhatron-II an Advanced Digital radiotherapy Telecobalt machine was commercialized.

  • 2008

    • Panacea obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification
    • IMAGIN- Digital Radiotherapy Simulator commercialized for clinical use

  • 2009

    • Panacea received ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2000 certificates for digital radiotherapy and digital radiography systems.
    • Panacea received CE Certificate for both Bhabhatron - II and Imagin.

  • 2010

    • Received CE Certificate for UNIRAY and UNIRAY 2000

  • 2011

    DSIR Recognition For In-house R&D Facility.

  • 2012

    • INDIA SME Excellence Award By SME chambers of India
    • Filed provisional Patent for Conformal therapy

  • 2013

    QCI. D.L Shah Quality Award By Quality Council of India
